AAP leader Durgesh Pathak
Aam Aadmi Party leader Durgesh Pathak was granted bail on a bond of Rs 1 lakh in the alleged excise policy case by Delhi's Rouse Avenue court on Wednesday. He appeared on summons issued by the court.

Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was summoned through video conferencing from the Tihar jail. His judicial custody was extended till September 25.

The court issued summons and production warrant to accused persons after taking cognizance of the supplementary charge sheet filed by the CBI. The agency submitted that it will supply the soft copy of charge sheet today and hard copies will be supplied. The list of un-relied documents will also be supplied later.

The Supreme Court had reserved order on Kejriwal's separate pleas seeking bail and challenging his arrest by the CBI in the alleged excise policy scam on September 5. The AAP chief was arrested by the CBI on June 26.

Kejriwal told the Court that his arrest by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the alleged excise policy scam was a strategic move.
