Delhi-NCR feels earthquake tremors as 4.9-magnitude quake hits Uttarakhand
A magnitude 4.9 earthquake struck Uttarakhand's Chamoli district on Tuesday night, with tremors felt across Delhi-NCR, while Assam's Nagaon district recorded a separate magnitude 4.5 quake earlier in the day.

The earthquake occurred at 10:23 pm IST at a depth of 13 km, with its epicentre located at latitude 30.103° North and longitude 79.561° East, the NCS said in a post on X.
Further details regarding possible damage or casualties were awaited.
Earlier on Tuesday, a magnitude 4.5 earthquake struck Assam's Nagaon district in the early hours of the day, according to the NCS.
The earthquake occurred at 4:23 am IST at a depth of 33 km. Its epicentre was located at latitude 26.428° North and longitude 93.060° East, the NCS said.
