The package carried suspected Heroin
The Customs officers at the Indira Gandhi International Airport on November9 caught a man carrying 7.321 Kg of suspected Heroin worth Rs 29.28 crore at Terminal 3. The passenger arrived to Delhi from Bangkok via Kuala Lumpur.

He was intercepted after he had crossed the green channel and was approaching towards exit gate of International arrival hall. During baggage search of the accused, white colour narcotics substance packed in seven green colour polythene packets, was recovered. Diagnostic test, confirmed the substance, suspected to contain Heroin.

The passenger has violated various provisions of the NDPS Act, 1985. Accordingly, the accused was placed under arrest under section 43(b) of NDPS Act, 1985 on November 10. The white powdery substance has been seized along with the concealing material under section 43(a) of NDPS Act, 1985.
