The tragic incident unfolded on December 5 when Gogamedi fell victim to indiscriminate firing by Nitin Fauji and Rohit Rathod at his Shyam Nagar residence. Investigations revealed Ramveer Singh's involvement in facilitating Fauji's arrangements in Jaipur, as detailed by the Jaipur Police Commissioner.
In a detailed statement, it was disclosed that Fauji and his associates clashed with Mahendragarh Police Station Sadar on November 9 before fleeing the scene. During this period, Fauji dispatched Ramveer Singh to Jaipur on November 19.
Regrettably, the confrontation resulted in the loss of Naveen Shekhawat's life at Gogamedi's residence, with one of Gogamedi's security personnel sustaining injuries during the altercation, according to police reports.
The police had swiftly identified Rathore and Fauji as the suspected perpetrators, announcing a substantial cash reward for information leading to their arrest.
Additionally, Ramveer Jat was arrested in Jaipur for his role in coordinating the murder plan, having prepared the groundwork for Fauji before the tragic event unfolded.
Further insights into their backgrounds revealed that Fauji and Ramveer had been close acquaintances, having studied together locally in Mahendragarh. While Fauji pursued a career in the Indian Army, Ramveer completed his education in Jaipur before the unfolding of the tragic incident.
The detained individuals are slated to be transferred into the custody of the Jaipur police for further investigation. The Rajasthan Police have formed a specialized 11-member team to accelerate the arrest proceedings and gather substantial evidence in this case.
