Delhi: 77 government schools to serve as Covid vaccination centres for 18-44 age group

Currently, Delhiites aged 45+ are being vaccinated at hospitals listed on CoWIN. For the newly-eligible 18-44 group, these schools will serve as the only vax centres for now, the government said.

Delhi's government schools will serve as the venues for vaccinating people in the 18-44 age group, it has been announced.

Preparations for the vaccination drive, which will start on Monday, are underway, government officials said.

77 government schools in the capital are being made ready for the purpose. The drive will run under the guidance/assistance of nearby designated hospitals/health facilities.

Some of the these schools include KV Air Force Tughlakabad Sangam Vihar, Shaheed Hemu Kalani GSBV Lajpat Nagar, Govt. Girls Sr. Sec. School, 2 Uttam Nagar, Sarvodaya Kanya Vidhyala, Basaidarapur, Sarvodaya Vidhyala, Mansarovar Garden, Sarvodaya Bal Vidhyala, West Patel Nagar, Ishani Govt Girls School, Saket, Sarvodaya Vidhyalaya Sector 3 Rohini, wires agency ANI reported today.
