Cyclone Remal: Heavy rainfall causes severe waterlogging after cyclonic storm makes landfall
Following the landfall of cyclone ‘Remal’, Manipur’s Imphal witnessed severe waterlogging with non-stop rainfall in the region. Commuters faced hurdles in making their way through waterlogged roads in their cars and two-wheelers. Pedestrians also faced difficulties navigating through the flooded streets. Rainwater nearly swamped stores and homes in the region.
