In the unfolding saga of criminal activity in North India, women are increasingly becoming pivotal for gangs aiming to eliminate their rivals.

Anu Dhankad’s involvement in the Burger King shooting is just one instance of this disturbing trend. As per a report by The Times of India, gang leaders are leveraging social media to recruit women fascinated by crime, drawing them into their syndicates.

These women aren't mere accomplices but play multifaceted roles from honey-trapping targets to executing reconnaissance and even participating in lethal operations, recent cases reveal, the report stated.

The shift towards using women in such capacities is credited to Lawrence Bishnoi and his faction, who capitalized on their social media prowess to enlist females capable of contributing to their criminal enterprises. Now, Himanshu Bhau has followed suit, employing Anu in a similar vein.

Earlier this year, Chandigarh police thwarted an attempt involving Pooja Sharma and her associates, who were poised to assassinate gangster Bhuppi Rana disguised as lawyers during a court appearance.

Pooja, subsequently charged under UAPA, confessed her admiration for Bishnoi and her romantic connection with his associate, Rohit Godara, who orchestrated the murder of Sukhdev Gogamedi.

Pooja’s path to criminality began with contact via a mutual friend and a Signal ID provided by a history-sheeter in Sikar jail. This enabled her to communicate with Godara, leading to financial support and instructions for the hit on Rana.

Similar tactics were employed by Godara with Pooja Saini in the Gogamedi murder.

Anu’s case mirrored these narratives, as she infiltrated Aman Joon's life through a fake Instagram profile to facilitate his assassination, showcasing astonishing composure even in the aftermath, as captured on CCTV.
