Covid update: Over 8000 cases reported across India, active cases exceed 40,000
India recorded 8,329 cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, marking a 9.8% increase since yesterday. The number of cases in Maharashtra crossed the 3,000 mark as the state reported 3,081 fresh infections.
