COVID spike: Fresh curbs in Noida, Ghaziabad; night curfew imposed till April 17

In light of the rising number of COVID-19 cases reported across the country, the Gautam Budh Nagar district administration on Thursday announced night curfew till April 17. As per the order, the night prohibition/regulation will be in place from 10 pm to 5 am. All movement of essential goods/commodities and essential/medical services will, however, be exempted. "It has been decided to impose night curfew from 10 pm to 5 am in Ghaziabad district. The order comes into effect from tonight," Ajay Shankar Pandey Ghaziabad District Magistrate said on Thursday.
