Covid curbs eased in Delhi: weekend curfew lifted, night restrictions to continue

Odd even scheme for reopening of shops in Delhi will be discontinued. Schools to remain closed in Delhi, issue to be discussed in next DDMA meeting, said officials.

Delhi: No more weekend curfew; restaurants, cinemas can reopen with 50% capacity
Delhi has lifted weekend curfew in view of the declining Covid cases. However, night curfew will continue without any change.

Night curfew is currently imposed on weekdays from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

DDMA said that the government offices in Delhi are allowed to function with 50 per cent staff.


For marriages, 200 people will be allowed. Bars and restaurants will open with 50 per cent capacity.

The decision was made at a meeting headed by Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal.
