COVID-19 vaccination at public, private workplaces having 100 eligible beneficiaries from April 11
A government worksite will be linked to a government vaccination centre and a private workplace with a private one. All beneficiaries will be registered on Co-WIN prior to the session. The district administration will coordinate inoculations.

The health ministry said workplaces where such sessions are to be held will be linked to the nearest vaccination centres. The health ministry has told states to launch the facility from April 11.
“In order to increase the access of vaccine to these populations, Covid-19 vaccination sessions may be organised at workplaces (both public and private) which are having about 100 eligible and willing beneficiaries by tagging these work places with an existing vaccination centre,” health secretary Rajesh Bhushan said in a note to states detailing guidelines.
“A substantial proportion of population aged 45 years and above are in the organised sector of the economy and is involved in formal occupation in offices (government or private) or manufacturing and services, etc.”

Once a vaccination session is planned and beneficiaries registered, the workplace will be registered as a vaccination site on Co-WIN. The location should have place for administering the jab and an area where recipients can wait for 30 minutes to be observed for any adverse events following immunisation.
