India announced revised guidelines for international passengers arriving in the country from February 14.

According the the new rules, apart from uploading the RT-PCR negative report(taken within 72 hrs prior to undertaking the journey), passengers will now also have the option of uploading full primary vaccination certificates.

The demarcation of ‘at-risk’ countries has also been removed, meaning that passengers from those countries do not need to give samples and await their results upon arrival.

The government has now added a 14-day self-monitoring recommendation post-arrival as against the 7-day mandatory home quarantine from earlier.

Need for undertaking RT-PCR test on 8th day & uploading the same on Air Suvidha portal has also been dispensed with.

Random sampling of 2% of international travellers from all countries will be conducted on arrival. Travellers can give sample & are allowed to leave the airport.
