The government has allowed schools to reopen for classes from first to fifth standard from October 25.
The State Government on Monday announced some more relaxations, recognising the steep fall in Covid-19 positivity rate. Authorities will not check RT-PCR test reports of international passengers on arrival at airports, except for those coming from select countries.

Airlines, instead, have to get international passengers upload their RT-PCR reports on the Air Suvidha portal and ensure the same before they are allowed to board the plane. There will not be routine SPO2 checks at airports.

The government has allowed schools to reopen for classes from first to fifth standard from October 25. Schools , however, will have to get consent from parents for running in-person classes. A class, however, can allow only half of its students to be present.

The government has also allowed swimming polls to operate with half the capacity in each batch. Only those who have taken two doses of the vaccine and are asymptomatic can use the pool.
