New Delhi: A local court last Saturday issued summons to three co-accused for their alleged involvement in the land-for-jobs case 'involving' former Union railways minister Lalu Prasad, wife Rabri Devi, sons Tejashwi Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav and others.

Special judge Vishal Gogne issued summons to Mustaqueem Ansari, Lal Babu Chaudhari and Rajendra Chaudhary after considering the supplementary prosecution complaint (equivalent to a charge sheet) filed by ED.

The case is listed for hearing on October 13 for scrutiny of documents on a day-to-day basis. The court had earlier issued summons to 16 accused, including Lalu Prasad.

The supplementary prosecution complaint filed by ED highlights the acquisition of six additional land parcels in Bihar's Gopalganj district. These plots were allegedly transferred to Tejashwi and Tej Pratap as bribes in return for appointing the sellers or their family members to Group D positions in the railways between 2004 and 2009, ED has alleged.
