‘Country will never forgive Congress, allies’: Rijiju slams protests during President Murmu’s speech
President Droupadi Murmu’s reference to the VB-G RAM G Act during her address to the joint sitting of Parliament triggered protests by opposition parties demanding a rollback of the law. Congress leader KC Venugopal called the address repetitive, while Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju accused the opposition of shaming the nation by disrupting the President’s speech.
