MCA extends company compliance deadline till September 15
The centre has extended the Companies Compliance Facilitation Scheme, 2026 (CCFS-2026) by a fortnight, giving a breather for meeting statutory requirements. A Corporate Affairs Ministry order said the relaxation follows continuous representations from stakeholders seeking an extension of the compliance window. The scheme is designed to let companies clear pending statutory filings in the MCA-21 registry.

“All other terms and conditions of the scheme remain unchanged,” the order said, noting the compliance window is now open till September 15.

This is the second extension of the scheme which was earlier lapsing on July 15, 2026. It was extended after a fire at the MCA data centre disrupted online filing services.
