Commuters in Delhi are urged to plan their routes carefully as the Delhi Traffic Police issue an advisory ahead of a scheduled procession on February 7. The procession, set to begin from Ram Leela Ground and travel through several key routes, is expected to disrupt traffic flow, affecting major thoroughfares in the city.

Traffic Advisory for Delhi Commuters

Delhi commuters are advised to prepare for potential traffic disruptions on February 7 as the city gears up for a scheduled procession. Starting from the Ram Leela Ground, the procession will move towards Pragati Maidan via Asaf Ali Road, Delhi Gate, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, and Mathura Road. The event, expected to draw around 1500 participants, has prompted the Delhi Traffic Police to issue a traffic advisory, highlighting specific routes to avoid.

Affected Routes and Timing

The advisory suggests that traffic may be heavily impacted on Asaf Ali Road, Turkman Gate, Delhi Gate, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, A-Point, Indraprastha Marg, and Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg. Commuters are strongly advised to steer clear of these routes between 1400 hrs and 1600 hrs to minimize delays and congestion.

In light of the procession, the Delhi Traffic Police emphasize the importance of patience, adherence to traffic regulations, and cooperation with authorities directing traffic at intersections.
