CJP’s Dipke mocks Centre; vows to go ahead with protest at Jantar Mantar despite police curbs

A video by Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke is drawing attention ahead of the group’s planned October 10 protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. Dipke and fellow activists mock train cancellations and restrictions at 57 Metro stations, with Dipke saying, ‘Railways band kar diye.’ CJP plans to protest over alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls and demand accountability from Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. Delhi Police says permission was denied because the application was submitted at short notice, alongside concerns over previous compliance, law and order, public safety and traffic.
