A chopper carrying pilgrims to Kedarnath shrine has crashed near Jangalchatti.
According to PTI, seven have been feared dead including the pilot. Poor visibility due to fog is believed to be the reason for the crash.
Administration team left for the spot for relief and rescue work.
The aviation minister said that they are closely monitoring the situation.
