Chess prodigy Praggnanandhaa to collaborate with ISRO to promote science and technology: S. Somanath

ISRO Chairman S. Somanath announced that chess grandmaster R. Praggnanandhaa would collaborate with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) to promote science and technology among young individuals.

During his visit to the young chess prodigy's residence, Somanath expressed pride in Praggnanandhaa's achievements, drawing a parallel between ISRO's lunar mission and the young chess player's accomplishments on Earth.

Somanath stated, "He is also going to work with us to promote space, so I am very happy that Praggnanandhaa will be working with us to inspire young people to take science, engineering, and technology to make India a very proud and powerful nation."


He expressed confidence in Praggnanandhaa's potential to become the world's number one chess player, given his exceptional skills and capabilities.
