Chemical plant in Surat catches fire, 1 dead
One dead, and several sustained injuries after a fire broke out at a chemical factory in Surat, Gujarat on September 11. The injured were rushed to the nearby hospital. The incident took place at a factory in GIDC industrial area. Explosions were heard due to the fire. At least eight fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames. More details are awaited.
