Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inspected the ₹156-crore bridge-tunnel project in Rudraprayag, built to improve connectivity between the Kedarnath and Badrinath national highways. The project features a 200-metre bridge over the Alaknanda River and a 900.3-metre tunnel. Trial vehicular movement began on Monday, with formal inauguration expected soon. Once regular traffic starts, pilgrims will be able to bypass Rudraprayag’s congested main market, helping ease traffic pressure during the Char Dham Yatra.
