Chhattisgarh: ISRO Chandrayaan-3 mission recreated at Raipur 120-ft Ganesh pandal
A grand pandal in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, has brought the glory of ISRO's successful lunar landing mission, 'Chandrayaan-3', to life. This spectacular recreation marks a significant achievement, as India becomes only the fourth nation globally, following the United States, Russia, and China, to accomplish this remarkable feat.

The pandal, standing tall at an impressive 120 feet, bears a striking resemblance to the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft. As the Ganeshotsav celebrations commence on Tuesday, it will be open for public viewing, allowing residents and visitors alike to marvel at this extraordinary creation.

Raipur's Ganesh Utsav committees have left no stone unturned in designing elaborate and themed pandals. The 'Chandrayaan-3' mission-themed pandal, located at Kali Bari, is a standout among them. Dominating the scene is a replica of the PSLV rocket, towering to a height of 120 feet and spanning 70 feet in width.

This masterpiece was created by the painstaking efforts of thirty experienced artisans from Kolkata who worked day and night to bring the 'Chandrayaan-3' mission to life. The structure used thousands of bamboo poles and plywood, and the entire procedure took 45 days to finish.

This artistic monument to India's space achievements commemorates not just the success of 'Chandrayaan-3,' but also the country's historic feat as the first nation to land on the moon's unknown south pole.

In addition to the Chandrayaan-3-themed pandal, another remarkable creation has taken shape in Maharashtra's Pune. The Shreemant Dagdusheth Halwai Sarvajanik Ganpati Trust has meticulously designed a Ganesh pandal themed around Ayodhya's Ram Temple. This pandal has been in the works for two months and will see the installation of the statue of Lord Ganesha in a ceremony presided over by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) president Mohan Bhagwat.

As the country celebrates Ganesh Chaturthi with pomp and circumstance, these imaginatively designed pandals serve as testaments to India's vast cultural and technological achievements, enthralling the hearts and minds of those who visit them.
