Encounter with Hostile Locals
While on a vacation with his family on June 9, ASI Paramjit Singh parked his car in Khajjiar. He later received a call from his son, informing him that locals were objecting to his parking spot. When Paramjit arrived at the scene, he encountered taunts from the locals, who referred to the slapping incident involving Kangana Ranaut. Despite his attempts to explain the situation, the locals became increasingly aggressive.
Police Involvement and Further Escalation
The situation escalated when a constable from the Himachal Pradesh Police arrived and began arguing with Paramjit, insisting that he move his car. After complying with the instructions, ASI Madan Paul of the Himachal Pradesh Police arrived and accused Paramjit of driving in the wrong lane. When Paramjit attempted to prevent the ASI from seizing his car keys by rolling up his windows, the altercation intensified, with more locals joining in.
