CCTV footage shows suspected abduction of Renukaswamy by Kannada actor Darshan's associates

CCTV footage of the suspected abduction of Renukaswamy has been found by the police The video showed a man, believed to be Renukaswamy, chatting with someone inside the car, who is suspected to be the associates of Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa. Renukaswamy is then seen getting into the vehicle, police sources said to PTI.

The police have suspected that the 34-year-old pharmacy worker was convinced by the abductors to go with them.



"He was then driven straight to Bengaluru where he was tortured to death," a police official said.

Darshan, along with his close friend Pavithra Gowda, and 13 others have been arrested in connection to the murder. Renukaswamy’s body was found near a storm-water drain with injury marks, indicating torture, on June 9.


Sources said that the Kannada actor was furious with Renukaswamy after he sent obscene messages and images to Gowda.
