CBI files its first chargesheet in NEET paper leak case.
The CBI has filed its first chargesheet on August 1 against 13 accused persons in the NEET paper leak case. The chargesheet has been filed against Nitish Kumar, Amit Anand, Sikander Yadvendu, Ashutosh Kumar-1, Roshan Kumar, Manish Prakash, Ashutosh Kumar-2, Akhilesh Kumar, Avdesh Kumar, Anurag Yadav, Abhishek Kumar, Shivnandan Kumar and Ayush Raj.

The NEET investigation was transferred to the CBI on June 23. The central agency utilised advanced Forensic Techniques, Artificial Intelligence Technology, CCTV footages, Tower location analysis, etc. to gather evidence against the accused.

Several of the accused are currently in police or judicial custody. The CBI is continuing its probe into the scam and it is expected to file supplementary chargesheets as and when it completed its investigation.


CBI has, so far, arrested 40 accused in this case including 15 arrested by Bihar Police and conducted searches at 58 locations.
