According to the police, Ramesh had consumed a large amount of alcohol earlier that morning and chose not to work. Ajith took one of the camels to the beach to give rides, while Ramesh remained at the parking lot. Around 11 a.m., the resort watchman alerted Ajith that Ramesh was found unconscious and severely injured.
Ajith transported Ramesh to Indira Gandhi Government Medical College and Hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. Police investigations revealed that Ramesh, in an inebriated state, was riding the camel at the parking lot when he fell. The camel then trampled and bit him, causing grave injuries that led to his unconsciousness and death.
Thavalakuppam SI Shanmugam Satya stated that the police have filed a case under the relevant sections of BNSS and are continuing their investigation. She clarified that Ramesh's death was caused by being trampled by the camel, not by its bites.
