New Delhi: Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) on Tuesday said it will organise the Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026 from May 1-4 at Bharat Mandapam.

Planned as India’s largest national trade expo, CAIT said the Mahotsav aims to strengthen domestic trade while expanding India’s presence in global markets.

“The current global situation, including tariffs and international conflicts, has changed trade dynamics worldwide,” said CAIT National Secretary General Praveen Khandelwal.

He said CAIT sees this as an opportunity to strengthen India’s trade capacity. As part of this effort, CAIT has launched a nationwide Indian Trade Movement, with Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav as its flagship initiative.

Khandelwal said Bharatiya Vyapar Mahotsav 2026 will celebrate the Indian Common Market under the theme of 'One Nation, One Market', and will showcase the strength and diversity of Indian trade, manufacturing, services and entrepreneurship. He added that the event will also highlight India’s commercial traditions and cultural heritage.
