In two high-impact midnight operations, BSF troops dealt a major blow to Pakistan-backed narco-terror syndicates attempting to push drugs and weapons into India, the BSF said in a statement.

In Amritsar, after detecting suspicious drone movement near village Daoke, alert BSF personnel launched an intensive search, seizing 12 packets of heroin weighing 6.638 kilograms from agricultural fields.

In another midnight operation in Punjab's Ferozepur, the BSF troops seized a pistol, magazine and four live rounds from fields near village Gandu Kilcha, preventing a possible arms-linked incident.

These decisive recoveries highlight the BSF's sharp vigilance, rapid action and true professionalism in safeguarding India's borders. The force continues to foil every nefarious design aimed at destabilising the nation and reaffirms its commitment to national security, they added.
