Blinkit's 10-min delivery of PlayStation 5 Slim sparks twitter debate, people asks what is the need?

Chief executive officer and co-founder of Blinkit, Albinder Dhindsa, announced on X that the firm is collaborating with Sony to distribute the recently released PlayStation 5 Slim edition game system, which was released in India on April 5.

According to a press release from Blinkit, customers in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, and Bengaluru can now receive the brand-new PlayStation 5 Slim models and controllers delivered in ten minutes. Albinder Dhindsa, the CEO of Blinkit, also verified the collaboration in a post on X (previously twitter).

Prior to its introduction, the Japanese electronics behemoth revealed the PlayStation 5 Slim's pricing in India: Rs 44,990 for the Digital Edition and Rs 54,990 for the Disc version.

In India, both models are currently accessible on Blinkit. The business will provide the vertical stand that works with the new PS5 models as an add-on accessory.

Comparing the PS5 Slim to the previous model, 30% less volume is occupied, giving it a slim design factor. The Digital Edition of the PS5 weighs thirty percent less than the previous generation model, while the ordinary PS5 model, which has an integrated disc drive, has lost eighteen percent of its weight.

As opposed to 825GB on the previous model, the PlayStation 5 Slim series offers up to 1TB of on-board storage.
