At a recent event titled 'Future Forward: Shaping Global Futures with Indian Innovations', Microsoft’s former CEO Bill Gates reflected on his long-standing admiration for India's potential.

Recalling his first visit to the country in 1997, Gates shared how impressed he was by Indian talent. “I had already seen that the people we hired from India were amazing,” he said. Visiting India solidified his belief that the nation's investments in infrastructure and education would propel it to global prominence.

“I thought this country would be a superpower one day... I didn't think it would be achieved so quickly,” Gates remarked, highlighting India’s rapid rise on the world stage.
