In a press release, issued by the Revenue and Land Reforms department, farmers will be registered through special camps held in the Panchayat buildings of all the Panchayats across the state on January 9th and 10th. The goal is to link as many farmers as possible with Farmer IDs through these camps.
The release of the Revenue and Land Reforms department said a Farmer ID will be useful for the farmers to get several important benefits. Under this scheme, funds from the PM Kisan Yojana will be transferred directly to farmers' bank accounts, the release mentioned. Eligible farmers will also be able to easily access benefits from all schemes run by the Agriculture Department. Moreover, the purification of land records will be ensured during the registration process.
Farmers have been requested to bring their Aadhar card, mobile number, and land revenue receipt for registration in the camp.
The work of creating Farmer IDs is being carried out in mission mode in all 38 districts of the state. The department has given clear instructions in this regard. To ensure the success of the Farmer Registration Campaign, the department has also deployed 15 senior officers in various districts to ensure continuous monitoring and speed of the work.
The department has requested all the farmers to reach the camp organized in their Panchayat Bhawan within the stipulated date and get their Farmer ID registered, so that they can avail the benefits of government schemes without any hindrance.
