Bengaluru weather update: Rain, thunderstorm hit city but there is good news for RCB fans
In its weather forecast, Skymet said that the IPL match in the city could get disrupted but heavy rain is ruled out.

"IPL match today on May 21, between RCB (Royal Challengers Bangalore) Vs GT (Gujarat Titans) in Bengaluru may be disrupted by patchy #rain. Heavy rain is ruled out. Short interruptions are possible," the private weather forecaster said in a tweet.
Bengaluru residents posted pictures and videos of the rain. "Bengaluru rain always surprises the people. It was a normal day till 3pm. And suddenly This happened," said @prakashrokaya82.
Some cricket fans shared visuals from the Chinnaswamy Stadium. RCB fans will hope that their batting maestros Virat Kohli back and skipper Faf du Plessis dazzle in the must-win game for them.
@vikram_kn1 has some good news for RCB fans also. "Dark clouds slowly clearing now. Slight drizzle is still on. But hopefully of a game now for sure. Fingers crossed," he tweeted.
RCB's match against Gujarat Titans is scheduled to begin at 7:30 pm. In Mumbai, Mumbai Indians won the toss and against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Wankhede Stadium in the first match of the weekend's doubleheader.
RCB will hope that the match does not get washed out under any scenario. If the match is abandoned, Mumbai will qualify if they end up clinching the victory against SRH. If the match takes place and both teams end up winning their respective matches then both Mumbai and RCB will move to 16 points. But this scenario will be in favour of RCB who have the better net run rate.
