The Quality Council of India (QCI) on Wednesday opened a branch of the National Accreditation Board for Testing & Calibration Laboratories (NABL) and National Accreditation Board for Hospitals & Healthcare Providers (NABH) in Bengaluru. This is the first branch of the QCI outside of its headquarters in Delhi.

Chairman of QCI Jaxay Shah said the organisation is expanding its physical presence across the states to build a robust network to ensure prompt response and grievance redressal for all stakeholders. “We also urge the Government of Karnataka to partner with QCI in order to improve the quality of life of the citizens of the state,” he said.

“We want to reach as many people as possible. Bengaluru is an ideal location to expand our presence in the south and create greater awareness about accreditation,” said chairman of NABL Subbanna Ayyappan.
