Balvantsinh Rajput, Gujarat’s Minister for MSMEs, praised his state’s industrial and innovation-related achievements. “Gujarat's development includes impactful projects such as GIFT City, Dholera Sir, DREAM City, Green Field Port, LNG Terminal, and the High-Speed Rail Network. GIFT City, India's first operational smart city in Gandhinagar, hosts a financial services center and an International Bullion exchange.” he said.

The upcoming Vibrant Summit, he added, would organize seminars and conferences on important topics like Semiconductor Sector, Sustainable Manufacturing, Green Hydron, Electric Mobility, Renewable Energy, and Industry 4.0. “Gujarat stands as the first state in the country to implement the Semiconductor Policy, aiming to establish itself as India's preferred location for semiconductor and display fab manufacturing,” he said.

The Vibrant Gujarat summit, which began in 2003, is a global forum for business networking, knowledge sharing and strategic partnerships for inclusive growth and sustainable development. The 10th edition will be held from January 10 to January 12 next year.

The Summit had held a curtain raiser in Delhi, followed by roadshows in Mumbai, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Chennai and Lucknow earlier, which aimed to highlight Gujarat as a ‘Gateway to the future.’
