Bengaluru food safety drive: 26 luxury hotels inspected, expired food seized; 35 samples collected
Food safety officials inspected 26 three-star and five-star hotels across Bengaluru. The department reported expired food, unhygienic storage, fungal growth on vegetables and other alleged violations at some establishments. Officials collected 35 food samples for laboratory testing.
