Bengaluru CEO Suchana Seth Case: In the Suchana Seth case, the ongoing investigation has revealed that a heavy traffic jam resulting from an accident near the Goa border played a crucial role in guiding the police to this Bengaluru woman, who is now facing charges for the death of her child at a service apartment in Goa’s Candolim.

The Twist of Fate at Chorla Ghat
Stranded for four hours at Chorla Ghat, where the borders of Goa, Karnataka, and Maharashtra intersect, Seth's arrest was made possible due to the delay. Authorities believe that had she reached Bengaluru, recovering the child's body might have posed significant challenges.

Custody Battle
Reports indicate that Suchana Seth allegedly killed her son over an ongoing custody battle with her estranged husband, Venkat Raman. Divorce documents showed a history of domestic violence allegations, with a court-issued restraining order against Raman. Despite the order, visitation rights were granted, leading to additional tensions in the already strained relationship.

WhatsApp Message Raises Concerns
Adding to the complexity of the situation, a WhatsApp message from Seth to Raman days before the tragic incident suggested that all was not well. The message, stating "You can meet the child," hinted at underlying issues.

Venkat Raman discovered that the family wasn't in Bengaluru and hence left for Indonesia, according to sources. It is anticipated that Venkat Raman will be summoned for questioning in the coming days.

Discovery of Cough Syrup Bottles
The Goa police, conducting a thorough investigation, discovered two empty bottles of cough syrup in the room where the alleged crime took place. This finding raised suspicions of a premeditated murder, indicating that Seth might have administered a heavy dose of the medicine to her son.

Ongoing Investigation
During interrogation, Suchana Seth denied her involvement in the crime, asserting that the child was already deceased when she woke up. The post-mortem revealed that the child was smothered, either with a cloth or a pillow.
