Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari takes oath as MLA from Bhabanipur, vacates Nandigram seat

West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari bowed at the steps of the Legislative Assembly before entering the House, echoing a gesture earlier seen from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Suvendu also received a Guard of Honour and took oath as MLA from Bhabanipur during the Assembly session.The Bengal CM later announced that he will retain the Bhabanipur seat and vacate Nandigram despite winning both constituencies in the Assembly elections.
