Bangladesh's PM Sheikh Hasina sends Haribhanga mango to Modi, WB and North Eastern state CMs

An official confirmed Mangoes were sent to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Chief Ministers of Tripura Biplab Kumar Deb, Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma, Meghalaya Conrad K. Sangma and Mizoram Zoramthanga.

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina sent “Haribhanga” mango to four chief ministers of North-eastern states, along with Prime minister Narendra Modi and West Bengal Chief minister.

An official confirmed Mangoes were sent to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Chief Ministers of Tripura Biplab Kumar Deb, Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma, Meghalaya Conrad K. Sangma and Mizoram Zoramthanga.

These four North-eastern states share a border with Bangladesh.


Bangladesh Assistant High Commissioner Mohammad Jobayed Hosen handed over the mango to Tripura Chief Minister.

Deb tweeted that he was extremely happy after getting the mango and thanked Hasina.“Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi the India-Bangladesh friendship would remain intact.”
