Bangladesh: Fresh protest targets Indian Assistant High Commission; analysts warn of Pakistan role
Bangladesh sees yet another protest at the Indian Assistant High Commission in Rajshahi. Experts, including former diplomat Veena Sikri, warn of a “dangerous and provocative situation,” pointing to possible involvement of Pakistan and its proxy, Jamaat-e-Islami, in stoking unrest. India has called on the interim government to ensure safety of its diplomatic missions.
