Law enforcement in California, United States, apprehended Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, on Monday. In addition, the Mumbai police is seeking his extradition in actor Salman Khan house firing case.

Anmol is currently facing charges in 18 criminal cases, and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has placed a reward of Rs 10 lakh for his capture.

In addition to the Salman Khan house firing case, Anmol is believed to be involved in the murder of Baba Siddique, which he allegedly helped orchestrate. Police investigations suggest that he provided both logistical and financial support for the attack, including arranging weapons through Sujit Sushilsingh, another accused in the case.

Further details indicate that Anmol shared photographs of Siddique and his son, Zeeshan, via Snapchat with the hired gunmen. The shooters reportedly conducted a reconnaissance of the area a month prior to the murder.

In addition to his alleged involvement in the Siddique murder, Anmol is also connected to other high-profile cases, including the killing of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala. Authorities believe he was also involved in planning attacks against various Bollywood figures.

Earlier, the Mumbai Crime Branch had said that the shooters involved in the murder of NCP leader Baba Siddiqui were in communication with Anmol Bishnoi prior to the crime. According to officials, the three suspected shooters exchanged messages with Anmol via Snapchat, while he was based in Canada and the United States.

The 66-year-old NCP leader was gunned down on October 12 near his MLA son Zeeshan Siddique's office in Bandra East's Nirmal Nagar area.
