Avalanche in Uttarakhand's Chamoli: Two bodies found, 291 rescued so far
At least two Border Roads Organisation (BRO) personnel were killed and 291 others rescued when an avalanche hit a BRO camp on Friday in Sumna area of Joshimath Sector in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district. The Indian Army said on Saturday that multiple landslides had also taken place in the area, snapping road access to the camp.
