He visited North Eastern Development Finance Corporation (NEDFi), NEDFi House, Guwahati and met the Chairman and Managing Director PVSLN Murty and NEDFi officials.

During the meeting NEDFi made a presentation on the economic scenario of the Northeastern Region of India, its resources and potential investment opportunities in the region and also NEDFi’s role and activities for the development including funding support extended to startups from North Eastern Region.


The High Commissioner in his discussion highlighted a few strategic areas such as infrastructure development, consultancy services and investment in promising startups which may be explored together. The High Commissioner thanked Mr Murty and the NEDFi team for providing insightful information about NEDFi and the North Eastern Region.
