State Innovation & Transformation Aayog (SITA) have signed Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Gauhati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH) to execute survey of Post-covid Impact.

On behalf of SITA, Chief Executive Officer M.S.Manivannan, signed the MoA and by Prof. (Dr.) Achyut Ch. Baishya, Principal-cum-Chief Superintendent, GMCH, Guwahati on behalf of Gauhati Medical College & Hospital in the presence of Vice-Chairman Ramen Deka and officials of SITA .

Deka hoped that the projects will be successful in understanding COVID-19 related distress and psychiatric disorders developed by some patients infected with the virus.


This project is aiming to assess the prevalence of post-COVID-19 syndromes, assess the functional status and assess the stress level and psychiatric morbidity.
