Assam: Gaurav Gogoi hits back at Himanta Biswa Sarma with counter questions, denies ‘Agent’ charge

Assam Congress president and MP Gaurav Gogoi strongly denied allegations levelled by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, stating that no evidence was produced to support claims that he acted as a foreign agent. He accused the CM of using the issue to divert attention from corruption allegations and land ownership claims involving the chief minister’s family. He also criticised the CM for allegedly revealing private information about his minor children.
