Assam CM’s big claim: ACS officer Nupur Borah took bribes, sold Hindu land

A vigilance raid in Assam has uncovered ₹1 crore in cash and diamonds from ACS officer Nupur Borah’s home. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma alleges she sold Hindu land to “suspicious individuals” for bribes. Borah, a 2019-batch officer, was under six months of surveillance.
