Assam Cabinet sanctions Rs 375 crore to bid for taking over assets of closed HPCL units

According to state cabinet this will be benefit 1100 families. Cachar Paper Mill at Panchgram and Nagaon Paper Mill at Jagiroad in Morigaon district have been non-functional since October 2015 and March 2017.

Assam cabinet has decided to sanction Rs 375 Crore for participation in bidding for taking over assets of Nagaon paper mill, Cachar paper and leasehold land of Hindustan paper corporation Ltd at Haflong.

According to state cabinet this will be benefit 1100 families. Cachar Paper Mill at Panchgram and Nagaon Paper Mill at Jagiroad in Morigaon district have been non-functional since October 2015 and March 2017.
