In a tragic incident, an 11-year-old boy from Morena, Madhya Pradesh choked to death while filming a social media reel, reported TOI. The incident occurred when Parmar decided to enact a scene from social media. Even as Parmer was fighting for breath, his friends kept the camera rolling thinking it was part of the boy's act, recording his chilling last moments, noted the TOI report.

The victim was identified by the police as Karan Parma, a student in 7th standard. A case of unnatural death was registered by the police while an autopsy was scheduled for Sunday.

However, as Parmer's body went limp and he ceased to breathe, the group of friends realised he had died and fled home in a panic. In the chaos, one of the friends dropped his phone as it kept on recording the incident.

Some of them informed Parmer's family members who rushed to the spot and took him to a hospital near Gwalior where he was declared dead on arrival.

Ambah police have seized the phone recording the reel and are in the process of questioning witnesses to investigate the cause of the death.
