As cases drop, Delhi lifts all Covid restrictions

Amid a sharp fall in the daily COVID-19 cases in the national capital, the Delhi government has lifted all Covid-19 restrictions.

Earlier, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) had lifted weekend curfew and the alternate-day opening system for marketplaces.


It also allowed cinemas, restaurants, and bars to reopen with 50% seating capacity. Schools and colleges were also made operational physically in the national capital.

However, the night curfew from 11pm to 5am was kept in place.

India has seen a major fall in Covid cases across the country, with 11,499 fresh infections being recorded on Saturday over the past 24 hours, according to the ministry of health and family welfare data.
