A Raj Bhavan official stated that the Army officials highlighted the security preparedness of the Army and Assam Rifles to handle any contingencies in the state. They also emphasized various measures undertaken to ensure the safety of the populace.

The Army officials mentioned the relief activities initiated to aid displaced families across different parts of the state. Additionally, they informed the Governor that the Army is committed to preserving peace and stability in the northeastern region, especially in Manipur.


The Governor commended the efforts of the Army and Assam Rifles and urged them to provide full support to the administration in restoring complete peace and tranquility in the state.
